Tiller While some of my epoxy efforts were drying, I turned my attention to the tiller. Originally it looked a little beat, just like everyting else. There was a varnish on it that was starting to peal away in spots. I used a belt sander to remove the majority of the varnish. I finished sanding with an orbital sander and 150 grit paper. To finish the tiller, I coated it with a teak oil. It gives a silky feel to the wood and will never peel or split.
