Short list of J2ME applications that I have tried or am using on my Sprint Razr2 mobile phone.

The only way to install J2ME midlets to your Sprint Phone is Over The Air (OTA). Use your phone's built in browser to go to www.nhcad.com/wap and you will be able to install the prog to your mobile device.

GCalSync
Web: www.gcalsync.com
Description: Synchronizes your google calendar to your mobile device. Unfortunately not all Sprint phones utilize the same PIM data that gcalsync uses (does not work on V9m - Razr2).
Requires ESN/Device Activation to access file system (JSR-75)

Description: Will parse your PIM data (Personal Information Mgr) so you see contacts, tasks, calendar and file system. I found the source code useful for writing my own code.

Description: Will let you browse to a folder and then open photos full screen. Source code available. Will show 'hidden' pictures (see SprintExtension below).

HideShowFiles
Description: Will let you browse files & folders. Can rename & delete files. Can batch append '_' to hide files or show all files. This keeps Sprint Devices from trying to create thumbnails for every pic/video.

Mobile GMaps requires ESN/Device Activation to access Sprint Extensions, Network, & GPS Location. The only version that I have been able to get working is from a forum thread which I have also made available here as mgmaps-alpha.jad
